buzz

Google Buzz is the keyword which created a sensation all over the world since its release in the past week. For those who are not aware of Google buzz, it is a simple, cool, new and elegant way to share the things you like with your friends. I could guess what you are thinking, may be as you thought this feature is already available in some famous social networking site such as facebook, twitter and so on… but what makes Google buzz special is that it integrates all the updates you do in various accounts you hold. For instance if you update your Google talk status it will be updated in Google buzz, if you own a blog the updates of that will be updated in it. But this doesn’t let the user to integrate with the famous social networking site facebook.  So it poses as a direct competitor for facebook. According to me Google buzz is a combination of facebook and twitter. Because as in twitter it has followers and following and it also displays the updates dynamically as in facebook. You can use Google buzz by logging in to your gmail account. An icon saying buzz will be there just below the inbox tab. This integration with mail let the user to use this buzz frequently because they will be checking their mail often. Let’s wait and watch whether this buzz becomes a hit  :)

windows-7Windows 7 is the latest OS released by Microsoft. If you are using vista still, it is the right time for you to change to windows 7. Because windows 7 outperforms vista in many aspects like performance, user interface, resource consumption, etc…. The main drawback of vista is the more resource consumption and its compatibility issue with old windows operating system such windows xp, 2000, ME etc… Windows 7 has solved this major problem. Resource consumption of windows 7 is very less as compared to its former. They have also solved the compatibility gotchas. They have introduced a new concept called OS inside OS. That is you can install windows xp inside windows 7 and can run programs that can run only in windows xp. This feature provides us the capability to run almost all programs. Cool feature right? They have also added some cool feature while removing some features that were there in vista. Some of the features they have added are the window preview and management in the taskbar. They also have moved the “show desktop” button to the right bottom corner. Windows 7 also groups and lists files that were opened recently using that application. They also have included some keyboard shortcuts for easy accessing. For ex pressing win key +up will maximize the active window while pressing win key + down minimizes it. In short windows 7 is a great release by Microsoft :)
